Goals! by Brian Tracy
2013 is coming to an end. Time to reflect and set some goals. I highly recommend this book "Goals!" by Brian Tracy. You need "clarity" of your goals. That is your destination. Then, you need a road map to get there, that is "plans."
Here is an exercise for you, per chapter 6:
1. Make a list of 10 goals you would like to achieve in a year or so. Choose 1 that would have the greatest positive impact on your life.
2. Make a list of everything you can do that will move you toward your goal. Take action on at least 1 thing immediately.
3. Copy this down onto a 3x5 index card. Carry it with you. Read and evaluate your progress every day.
4. Determine the price you will have to pay in term of time, effort and commitment to achieve your goals. Get busy paying the price.
5. See it happens! :)
